VIOLET

Two families are forced to live underground after World War 3 breaks out.  In their bunker, 2 km below the surface, they have lived for a year, but now they yearn for something more.

The Krapps, your not so typical, happy as anything kinda family.  The father, Ralph, is a scientist who designed and created the bunker they live in.  His lovely wife, Betty, cooks, cleans and dances, and that's just for fun.  The daughter, Sarah, fits perfectly into a bimbo-esque role and the son, Joe, is a typical jock, into football, football and football.  The elderly Krapps, Gertrude and Henry, are even happier, enjoying their twilight years as geriatrics.

The Stills, a weirdly disfunctional family, having lost the mother due to the war.  The father, Richard, just hasn't been the same since his wife died and he is constantly reminded of his job as an Undertaker by Ralph.  His daughter Karen is nothing less than a full blown alcoholic and his twin sons Zach and Aaron are your typical brainiac kids, enjoying their time spent debunking Einstein's theory of realitivity.

The Soldier...he is their cure.  He is their answer.  He is their hope.  He is their end.
